Types of Documentary
Expository documentary - This is when the documentary speaks directly to the viewer, usually to inform them about a particular subject or to persuade them to do something. For example Govenment messages or voted videos.
Observational documentary - This is when the documentary just follows everyday life natural things with the target of just showing people how everything is. For example this might be used to show how a type of people live their lives.
Interactive documentary - This is when the documentary gives both sides to the story and an honest opinion. For example a documentary that wants the audience to know both sides of a story.
Reflexive documentary - This is used to show the audience how a documentary is made to make the audience relate to what they are watching.
